Burn, burn, burn...

Cycling in all it's forms is greatly satisfying.  However, with all the miles comes the slow burn of boredom...  Sebring is a wonderful goal and I am there.  If it were to happen tomorrow, I would be ready.  But, now I have to wait almost 2 months... My mind is slowly burning out;  the same roads and the same dogs chasing me. The drivers caught on camera trying to run me off the road do change, though...
15mph zone.  I'm going a little faster than the speed limit.  Pictures are always forwarded to authorities...
I ditched in time...I tracked this guy to the mall and got this...

Love the camera, but hate having to use it...
I do get fun video as well, though, like Noki chasing my RC Plane:-)
I do have many, many positives and these are the things that make me happy for what is to come. Including...fast 30 mile time trials and just being able to sit back and cruise on the Saturday A rides if I want and just watch with a nice low heart-rate.  And, while I'm not looking forward to the pain of being on the bike for 12 hours at 100mph, I am at the place I need to be to be successful at it. I also discovered my seat was moving way too much and is now rock solid.  I'm surprised I didn't feel it while riding.
I have maintained the mileage and strength and am now going to enjoy the Christmas season.  I will then amp it up in January for a nice taper in February.  This may be the last I write on it for a while.  The season has been mad.  Working, trying to get in miles, and being a single parent all the while trying to just keep the house clean is a fun adventure to say the least.

Happy Birthday, Son!!!!

My son turns 11 this weekend!!  Sometimes I can't believe that he was so small and fragile in my hands.  He is such a wonderful young son and does everything he can to help out and be the best he can be.  He rides his bike while I run and is incredibly creative making his
