It's been a while...WOW!

I have finally started riding again. My work schedule had changed due to a recent injury and it has given me time to ride (with Dr. Approval) my Corsa. I have ridden a hundred miles this week and look forward to another twenty today before therapy. The funny thing is that this feels more like therapy than having a stranger push and pull on me.
My speed has changed a little. instead of that 22 mph average, I am down to 20 over a twenty mile stretch. I have to get on it!! The good news is that I have been able to procure a lager framed Corsa (blue letters) from a friend to get my 6'2" body out of that medium frame. I also ordered a lighter crank and a POC seat. I have loved this seat since it came out and just haven't been up to buying it. The other good news is that I will be able to leave the old Corsa for Katy to train on when she visits. She asked that if she chip in could she keep the old one here and I said "why not?". Hopefully the old battle stallion will help her break that 168 she did at Sebring last year!!
Oh, about the injury. I have a herniated disk in my neck and middle back that I received at work...grrr. The one in my back is not as painful but the one in my neck pretty much keeps me from work at all. The Corsa with a home built headrest keeps my neck feeling better than when standing!!

  1. I'm so glad you've had your bike to turn to as a stress reliever and physical therapy. Your Dad is really enjoying the bike he got from you!!
